Hi

What does the Reference Number field corresponds to under the Rules definition ? My own assumption was the Num field on the transaction, but it turns out wrong.

I am actually trying to define a rule that will read the Num field and I can't make it work since the Reference Number and Num are 2 different fields.

Hi Michael

Your non-reply is making me nervous to put my money into Prospect. My 21 day trial is going up soon and I really like your software.

I understand that multi-currency and CSV import are in the works, albeit in version 1.3, which is what I need most, and am willing to pay now and wait for it, trusting that you are back on your feet with regards to continued development.

Please prove me wrong as I am exhausted trying out almost all Mac personal finance software available. Prospect seems to be the only one that fit most of my needs, but I need to know that this software is ongoing mode.

Regards
Romy

Hi Romy,

I understand how you feel.

I made the mistake of purchasing Prospects.

Whilst I think it could be an excellent program, the support is extremely poor (almost non-existant).

I feel that I have wasted my time and money on this product and would not recommend buying it. If I had known that there was not going to be any support I wouldn't have paid for the program. In its current state, Prospects should be Freeware.

Romy,

I apologize for an EXTREMELY delayed response.

This is actually a bug in the software. It should apply to the Num field in Prespects. I was able to fix this and will make it part of 1.2.8 when it comes out.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Michael

Thanks for your reply, finally. I look forward to the 1.2.8 update.

How's work going on 1.3 ? Is multi-currency and CSV import confirmed features for 1.3 ?

Despite your non-response I did put my money into Prospect by buying a license after my 21 day trial run ended.

Romy

Romy,

I did see that - thank you for the support!

Multiple currencies are in 1.3 and are mostly done (still updating a few things with the ViewPoints). I am also aiming to get CSV in there and will probably put out a 1.2.9 with CSV importing before 1.3 comes out.

Once I get 1.2.8 done, I'll get some more details on 1.3 out there.

Thanks
Mike

Hi Michael

Downloaded 1.2.8 and tested the Num field import, it is now working ! Thanks !

The added Expense report was a pleasant surprise. If the report can be broken down into months like the cash flow report it would be super.

Regards
Romy
